April Hurray!

Thanks to all who came out to make music for our first event on Easter Sunday! I’ll post some photos when I get permission. It was great to see everyone get together with their instruments, voices and smiles. Thanks to everyone who donated! We collected enough to pay for the space and the coffee, with a little left over to put toward the next event on May 13 (Mothers’ Day!). If you’re signed up for the mailing list, the announcement will be going out soon. If you’re not, sign up!

April Easter Sunday Event Full!

Thanks to all who signed up for our event on April 8th. I wan’t sure if we would get a good turnout, as many families have long-standing Easter plans. The event filled to capacity (75 people) in 4 days, even though it’s more than a month away! Hurray! People want to sing!

There’s still lots to do to make sure we can continue to hold monthly events, and try to meet the goals of our road map, so please keep in touch and consider getting involved.

April Second Sunday Venue Confirmed!

Ed Roberts CampusI’m excited to announce that our April Second Sunday event will be taking place in the Osher Education Center at the Ed Roberts Campus. If you haven’t been there yet, the Ed Roberts Campus is a beautiful universally accessible space atop the Ashby BART Station, designed as a resource for the whole community. You can enter through the front entrance on Adeline Street. I think it’s a great location and a great space. Many thanks to ERC for making it available!
