The Bay Area has no shortage of music<\/span> venues where you can go and listen<\/span>, but where do you go when you want to sing<\/span> and move yourself?<\/p>\n

The East Bay Community Music Project is committed to building community through fun and engaging music-making experiences for people of all ages.<\/p>\n

One of the hallmarks of a thriving musical culture<\/span> is that music is an activity that everyone does together<\/span>, across all generations, unselfconsciously<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Imagine<\/span> a community of people, united by the simple joy<\/span> of making music together; a community that gathers<\/span> on a regular basis to sing, move, improvise, play<\/span> instruments; a community<\/span> that is not divided by age, skill, race, culture or economic status.<\/p>\n
